Bete Yilma has had 30 years of teaching experience. She has worked as a Spanish language instructor, science and math Spanish immersion teacher, reading interventionist, and immersion program coordinator. She has collaborated with Connecticut University on a project for future language teachers, and she leads the Greater Washington Area Teachers of Foreign Languages webinar series. Language learning is Bete’s passion, and she is excited to bring these Open Hearts, Big Dreams books to kids.
