We built an elementary library at the Hibret Elementary School in 2020, one of the two largest schools in Gondar. We are working to fill it with books. We also have plans to include connectivity for training and other innovation center efforts.
Bahir Dar Library
Open Hearts Big Dreams started with funding a library at Yekatit 23 school in Bahir Dar in 2011. Bahir is the birthplace of our founder’s daughter. This library has since expanded to a new building and is a model for community.
